The Use of Herbs for Your Ailments

Well a week and a have ago I had the mis-fortune of getting food poisoning. And although I focus alot on staying healthy and eating heathy I guess I somehow wasn't paying as close attention as I should have.

I had bought a piece of tuna that looked pretty fresh and I really didn't look at the labeling that closely expect for the date and the date was well within the date to Sell by so I figured it was a good piece of fish.

I typically like my tuna pan seared, leaving the inside rear. So that's how I cooked it. That night I developed a little headache which should have been a sign that something was not right. This slight headache continued for two days, very rare for me, and then it hit. The achey body, that more intense headache, and low energy.

This is where I started realizing that I messed up. Although that date on the packaging for the fish was well within the expiration date, I forgot that when these
big fishing boats go out to sea that they can stay out there for up to two weeks. I did look at the label after the fact and noticed that the tuna was from the Phillipines...and I am in Arizona...so it was out of the water for sometime. Two plus weeks. So it's no wonder that I got ill from not fully cooking this fish. I also realized that to just pan sear a piece of tuna is should be sushi grade. Sushi grade is a better part of the fish and is caught differently. The boats that catch the sushi grade tuna are not out at sea near a long so the fish is much fresher.

So either way I messed up. So I'd have to go through the process of having my body process these poisons out of my system. You see when you get food poisoning your entire body suffers and these poisons actually get into your blood. This time around I did not experience the vomiting that is typically associated with food poisoning but it was more of a blood thing and aches and pains.

Although the symptoms lasted for a couple of days and the body pains went away I was experiencing continual headaches. This was not going to work for me and I had to find out what was the cause of this. Something intuitively told me that it was my blood and that I still had toxins in my blood. I know that there are herbs that are used to help clean the blood. So I decided to look a little deeper to find the specific herbs to help remove the toxins from my blood and detox my systems.

As many may or may not know herbs have been used for thousands of years as medicines way before the pharmaceutical industry took over as a big business, herbs were perscibed and used to treat many aliments and with very good results. People should also realize that they are a more holistic way to treat the body and do it in a more natural way. Also realize that herbs need to be taken as perscribe and that one can over dose on herbs so it's always best to use as perscribed.

So Back to the herbs that were going to clean my blood. I found throught my more specific research that herbs such as Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Echinecea, Red Clover Blossom, Devel Claw, Chaparral Leaves, Sasaparilla, Yellowdock and Kelp all helped to purify the blood and regulate the cell count. I also added Pomagranate extract and Pomergranate juice and "ba-da-bing ba-da boom" the heachache are gone in a couple of days and I'm back to feeling great again. BTW the "Ba-da-ding" is a New York techinical term for real quick. So I'm good. Just want you to keep in mind that you don't always have to pop an pharceutical pill everytime you are not feeling good but you can rely on more natural source like herbs to find alternative cures to what may be ailing you

Getting old or a New Beginning. Some suggestions for Your Mid-Life Crisis

Mid-life is a period in time usually around the age of 40 that one starts asking what is the meaning of life, who am I, and what am I doing here on this planet. It is also a time where we start seeing our bodies changing a little. We may start noticing a little extra weight, our skin sagging or wrinkling and we realize that we don’t have the energy we used to. At the same time we are somewhat in denial of the fact that we are aging and are wondering about the quality of life and thinking “what will I do with the rest of my life”.

Many issues arise such as not being happy with ones lifestyle, job, health and relationships. We start questioning decisions that we have made in the past. We seem to be a little board with the way things are and are looking for some kind of change to once again provide the excitement we had at a younger age. We think this can’t be all there is. So we start seeking adventure by looking to do something completely different with our lives, change our job or anything that will get us out of this aging boredom rut we got stuck in

These thoughts of boredom, growing old and what we can do about it can take a lot of energy. I guess that’s why they call it a crisis. But there are things that one can do to get you out of this rut. You can do things that get you excited about life. Maybe even get your mind and body to cooperate and start living with that mindset that everyday is a new beginning and I will live everyday to the fullest. You can still enjoy life as you mature. You can enjoy life everyday till the day you die.

Something you can do is to focus on the things that bring you satisfaction and pleasure. Of course sex always comes up when you talk about satisfaction and pleasure and maintaining an active sex life is something that can help you keep your body in shape too.

There are many things one can do to relinquish the blues of a Mid-life crisis. One should allow themselves more time to reflex on their life and explore their feeling about life situations, relationships and where they choose to go from here. Reflection is fine for learning to live a better life but don’t dwell on this for life is living in the present. Other things that you can do are possibly devote more time to your partner or spouse, rekindle that relationship and find new things that you can do together again. Setting new goals or finding a new hobby is also a great way to get your mind active again. Learning new things always creates an excitement just as when a child is learning something new they are active and excited about life. Taking up traveling, doing volunteer work or spend time with your children or family. Do things that keep you challenged, keep on learning and growing.

As I’ve heard T. Harv Eckert says “if you are not growing you are dying”. Plant those seeds again, the seeds of your life and start growing your life from this point on. Start an exercise program. Eat a well balanced diet to shed the few extra pounds you put on over they years. And make sure you are getting the proper sleep. Keep your mind healthy, stay active and finding your purpose will keep you growing and excited about life. And even thou you are aging you are not dead. It’s time to live.

Let's Do It!

How to Get the Best Skin Care Customizes For You

Being involved in the Optimal Health and Anti Aging business I realize that how we feel, move and look all play a part in what we view as healthy and combating the signs of age. The way we look says a lot about how healthy we are both inside and out. After all our faces are the first thing people notice when meeting us. So regardless if you are a man or a woman you typically want to look your best. So in order to do this we must have the best skin care. The question is, what is the best and how much does it cost? As you've probably noticed, there are no shortages when it comes to skin care products. While many will swear up and down that they're the best, this isn't necessarily true. The best skin care varies with the individual.

Since we all have different skin types, we have to find out what type of products are suited for us as individuals. From oily skin, to dry skin, to combination skin, to normal skin, there is much to sort through. Some unfortunate individuals even have sensitive skin. This means that many cosmetics can and will irritate their face. What a pain! After you distinguish your skin type, it is good to do some browsing. Whether you hit the department stores for the upper-end products from Channel, or the drugstore for a more reasonably priced selection, you may want to check online to save some time.

The Internet is infused with products for the best skin care. The highlight is typically the price since the Internet has the ability to offer products at cheaper, more desirable prices. For example, if you are afflicted with acne, you may want to specify your search for acne treatments. This way you can get the rundown of what's available and for what price. Testimonials are a plus to searching online. You can find responses from others who have tried the products and whether or not they liked them. You can't exactly do that in a department store. To locate the best skin care, it is good to try samples as well. Many companies offer samples to intrigue you or possibly starter kits, which are commonly fully refundable if you're not satisfied.

Bad skin can be a great shot to the self-esteem if not taken care of. Luckily there is something for virtually everyone on the markets these days. Locating the best skin care can take time and a number of trial and error routines. It may be beneficial to consult a dermatologist if you suffer from a severe skin condition. This way you may find faster results in a prescription or possibly simple advice that you weren't aware of. Whether we admit it or not, the majority of us want to look nice. Fortunately, with the products available today, we have that option. Learn how to get a Free Skin Analysis by visiting my products page and click on Free Skin Analysis.
